Somebody retypes the score

The stats live in one app and the graphics live in the switcher, and a person sits between them. Every score change, every down and distance, every leader board is typed a second time by whoever is free. It is slow, it is wrong about as often as anyone is busy, and it costs you a crew member for the whole night.

The graphics read the game

Your switcher polls a URL. The scorer taps a play on the sideline and the score bar, the drive panel and the leader boards follow it — no second entry, no second person, nothing to keep in step. Set the addresses up in August and flag the game on air; that is the whole of game night.

How the overlays and feeds work →

It is an ordinary web address, not an integration

No plugin, no partnership, no vendor lock. The overlays are transparent web pages and the feeds are JSON or XML at a URL — so vMix, OBS, Wirecast, CasparCG or something your own crew wrote all read the same thing. The vMix walkthrough is written out dialog by dialog.
